JOB DESCRIPTION

• Improve work safety and work quality
• Ensure proper control and utilization of material resources in the section
• Ensure rules and regulations of the Company and government are being complied with
• Responsible for leading the section towards work excellence
• Responsible for the installation of accommodation and outfitting such as paneling, ceiling floor, insulation and etc
• Supervise the installation of HVAC systems
• Install fire and life-saving equipment
• Review the production work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Coordinate and build good rapport with both internal and external customers (vendors, surveyors and clients)
• Responsible for efficient administration, supervision and management of his workforce:

• Look after the welfare of workers
• Ensure the discipline of workers
• Ensure the work safety of the workers
• Deploy and utilize manpower effectively

• Delegate work to the respective subordinates
• Control and manage the subcontractors and their workers
• Manage the career development and training of personnel
• Arrange inspection with third party (surveyors or clients)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree / Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent.
• NTC 2 / NITEC in a marine related trade.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience for diploma holders for Engineer position, and 3 years of relevant experience for degree holders for Senior Engineer position.
