Overall Design Lead for company's brand (ShakeShack and SaladStop!) marketing material requirements to include but not limited to photoshoots, institutional brand campaigns, social media assets, in marketing collateral that will drive community interest & engagement through novel and relevant design
Brand Steward who will consistently embrace and convey the company's voice & positioning through executed design
Performance Booster to ensure that designs aids in boosting brand presence by regularly reviewing effectivity of design vs laid out marketing objectives
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares work to be accomplished and plans concept by gathering necessary information and materials
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout (and mock-up if necessary) for approval
Prepares final copy and art layout by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and canvassing or purchasing from vendors
Ensures operation of equipment & tools by regularly coordinating with the IT department for preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment
Completes projects by liaising with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc to negotiate on final costs, ensure quality of intended execution and that deadlines for final delivery/production/installation are met
Maintains technical knowledge by suggesting design workshops/seminars, subscription to professional publications to further enhance skills set
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
QUALIFICATION GUIDEEducation: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, visual design, fine arts or advertising or of any equivalent experiencePreferred Skills: Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and Corel Draw) and desktop publishing tools.
