Job Description

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably Advertising, Communication Arts, Marketing, Industrial Design or Fine Arts)
• With at least 1 year of experience in the related field.
• Required skills: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, computer literate, quality management, highly organized and keen to details; has the initiative to improve and develop oneself; can work under minimal supervision; can work efficiently under pressure; must be proactive; must have basic photography skills; knowledge on offset printing or digital printing; must have basic knowledge in sizing & scaling dimensions e.g. paper printing sizes, booth layout designs, collateral structures, etc.

• Takes part in communication-related activities from conceptualization to implementation of such projects, e.g. brainstorming/conceptualization, preparation of documents for submission to regulatory agencies such as Ad Standards Council (ASC), etc.
• Designs and lays out marketing collaterals such as brochures, flyers, banners, standees, exhibit panels, newspaper and magazine advertisements and corporate identity materials like letterheads, business cards, and envelopes.
• Develops and executes designs on product packaging and labeling.
• Takes pictures of products then edits/retouches digital images (using Photo editing software programs) for use in various marketing collaterals.
• Conceptualizes & executes web design and layout.
• Coordinates with printers for proper production of printed materials.
• Collaborates with the Marketing Coordinator on various marketing concerns like visual strategies, inventory of marketing materials, etc.
• Reports the status of all projects to the Communications Director.
• Recommends hardware or software programs used in graphic designing.
• Other responsibilities may include assisting the Communications Director on different visual communication-related tasks, providing basic computer troubleshooting to the department, etc.
