/ Scope of Services
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the school's publicity team or designated point of contact to conceptualize and produce high-quality visual materials. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Digital & Print Publications
School Newsletter
Design and layout the semestral digital and print newsletters, ensuring visual appeal, readability, and adherence to school branding.
Social Media Content
Create static graphics, photo collages, and reusable templates for social media platforms.
School Website
Develop visually engaging assets including:
Web banners and hero images
Custom graphics, icons, infographics, and button elements
Page layout mock-ups for new or revamped web sections
Ensure designs are vibrant, user-friendly, and aligned with school's branding.
Video Content & Reels
Edit and produce short videos for publicity, social media reels, and event highlights.
Incorporate basic motion graphics, text overlays, photography/videography elements, sound mixing, and consistent visual styling.
Corporate Collaterals & Branding
Design banners and large-format signage for events, celebrations, and internal wayfinding.
Conceptualise and design mementos such as certificates, trophies, plaques, and commemorative gifts.
Create visually appealing promotional items including postcards, tote bags, lanyards, and T-shirts to support school branding initiatives.
Illustration
Produce custom illustrations for campaigns, teaching materials, website use, book covers, and other creative needs.
Ensure illustrations represent school values and themes effectively.
Deliverables
The designer must provide:
Print-ready PDFs for newsletters, banners, and collaterals
High-resolution JPEG/PNG files for digital applications
Source files for all artwork (e.g., .ai, .psd, .indd)
Edited video files optimized for social media, including project files
Original illustration files in vector or high-resolution formats
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a strong portfolio showcasing print and digital design, layout, typography, and photo/video editing.
Ability to create engaging videos and simple motion graphics for social media.
Strong illustration skills with a recognizable style and adaptability to school needs.
High attention to detail and capability to work within established brand guidelines.
Excellent communication skills for requirement gathering, concept presentation, and feedback incorporation.
Preferred:
Experience designing media assets and collaterals for educational environments.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per month
