Graphic DesignerFast Lab TechNew York, NYPart - Time, RemoteFast Lab is a medical diagnostic laboratory that offers a full range of bioanalytical testing services to help our patients optimize their health and wellbeing.We are looking for a part-time graphic designer who will be responsible for the creation of all our graphic design needs in the company, which includes, but are not limited to advertising visuals, social media images, infographics, marketing materials and website graphics. The successful candidate must be passionate in delivering creative digital design that captures the viewers' attention.Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Ability to work 20-30 hours per week
• Fluent in English for both written and verbal communication
• Portfolio of graphic design projects
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design
• 1-3 years experience as a Wordpress designer and developer
• Experience in UI/UX Design and creating wireframes or prototypes is a big plus
• Team player but can also work independently with less supervision
• The ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Good time-management skills
• Detail-oriented and critical thinker
• Knowledge about digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Create original design for print or digital ads, social media images, website infographics, user guides, and more

• Maintain a strong knowledge on the best practices and trends for digital, print, social media, and video formats

• Develop design deliverables with initiative and creativity

• Designing and developing WordPress websites

• Maintaining a strong understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

• Deliver work on time and on budget with uncompromised quality

• Work closely with the team for design requirements or specifications

• Proactively give creative or design-related recommendations and advices

• Occasionally work on other tasks to help the team on other internal tasks when needed

• Communicating with business colleagues to gather and refine requirements and specifications for content development within agreed-upon timelines

• Improving and enhancing websites after they have been created

• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices as well marketing wise designs.
