Overview:We are seeking a skilled and creative 3D Designer & Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in 3D modeling, character design, and preparing models for production. Knowledge of 3D printing and file preparation will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality 3D models using Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
Develop 3D character models with attention to detail, proportion, and design accuracy.
Prepare 3D files for production, including STL files for 3D printing and OBJ files for 3D milling.
Segment and optimize 3D models for printing and fabrication.
Collaborate with the design team to integrate 2D and 3D assets.
Use Photoshop and Illustrator for texture work, basic 2D editing, and design support.
Ensure models are production-ready, technically accurate, and optimized for various outputs.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
Basic working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of 3D modeling principles (topology, UV mapping, proportions).
Ability to model and prepare 3D characters for production.
Knowledge of model segmentation techniques for 3D printing and milling.
Familiarity with STL and OBJ file workflows.
Prior hands-on experience with 3D printing.
Interest in experimenting with new 3D printing technologies.
