Roles & Responsibilities s The Ground Support Equipment Mechanic will repair and maintain ground support equipment including vehicles, in the Facility
Duties & Responsibilities

• Repairs and servicing of Aircraft Servicing Equipment
• Maintains heavy equipment that includes hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery.
• Inspects ground support vehicles and equipment to determine whether repairs are required.
• Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs.
• Schedules periodic maintenance for ground support equipment and vehicles
• Maintains a clean and safe repair area.
• Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains Computer Repair Logs for vehicles and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned. i.e. routine facility maintenance, i.e. basic electrical and plumbing rectification

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools to repair ground support vehicles and equipment.
• Fabrication Skills, including welding
• Ability to read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills, with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Basic level Computer skills
• Fabrication Skills, including welding
• Physically fit to access vehicles and equipment by either kneeling or laying on back
• Prolonged periods working on vehicles and equipment, in an open environment

• Minimum ITE or equivalent
• Relevant experience would be preferred
