Our Client is the world\'s largest Furniture Manufacturer.Reports To: Assistant Finance Manager - Group ConsolidationJob Summary: The Group Accountant will be responsible for preparing and assisting with the consolidation of financial results, with a primary focus on ensuring compliance and meeting reporting requirements for a NASDAQ listing. This position demands strong accounting expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:IPO Listing:
Assist in the preparation for a NASDAQ listing, including due diligence and necessary documentation.
Collaborate with legal, tax, and financial advisors to ensure compliance with listing requirements.
Financial Reporting:
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP and NASDAQ standards.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Help prepare and review consolidation entries.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Perform variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for significant fluctuations.
Contribute to the preparation of management reports and presentations.
Work with subsidiary finance teams to gather essential financial information.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to direct supervisors and senior management.
Handle India\'s entities.
Audit:
Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures (internal audits will be required once listed).
Support both external and internal audit processes.
Prepare the necessary documentation and schedules for audits and regulatory filings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a consolidation role.
Experience with multinational companies.
Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and SEC regulations.
Proficiency in financial consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC).
Advanced Excel skills, with familiarity with SAP systems being a plus.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with SAP systems is preferred.
