About Our Client

Our client has high visibility within the pharmaceutical industry and a strong foundation in its field. They are seeking a highly skilled and driven Finance System Specialist to join the team that will be sitting on the Group level. The ideal candidate will have experience working in both IT and finance, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.

Reporting to Corporate Group Controller and Group Strategy & Business Planning Director, you will:

• Collaborate between the IT and Finance department, along with other third parties to ensure smooth functioning of financial systems, tools and implement new system changes
• Implement and streamline new technologies, software and tools, ensuring that they integrate with existing financial systems
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot financial systems, ensuring system governance and controls are in place
• Assisting the Finance team with month-end closing processes and procedures while supporting the reconciliation of reports every quarter/year
• Provide necessary training and support to relevant users of financial systems, and ensuring user procedures and standards are developed and maintained
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation, streamlining financial processes to increase overall efficiency and reduce cost
• Assist in adhoc projects and initiatives as needed

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related fields with at least 5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial systems and processes
• Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and ideally familiar with SAP, TM1 and BlackLine systems
• Agile and highly adaptable in fast paced working environments
• Resourceful and proactive, ability to work independently
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
