Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a strong vendor management team across the region to ensure efficient operations, effective functional capability, high level of motivation among staff and strong engagement of stakeholders and vendors.
  • Formulate Group Vendor Management Policy, Standards, Process and Procedures for proper governance, oversights, reduce risks and improve controls over vendor delivery and support of products and services.
  • Develop a framework and implement an effective operating model for the acquisition, implementation, support and maintain of products and services in the bank.
  • Manage and execute activities to support sourcing of products and services for the Group. This includes managing and participating in planning, forecasting, and establishing long-term plans, standard costs and forecasting price variance.
  • Engage with stakeholders and establish partnerships with vendors / suppliers for collaboration, gain insights, and synergy. Organize strategic meetings with key vendors and perform regular vendor performance assessment.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, formulate strategic approach, and drive initiatives that deliver strong partnership with vendors that will bring more benefits and best value for money spent on projects, purchases of goods and services and operating costs.
  • Create successful relationships with key vendor contacts and participate in vendor\'s strategic initiatives and ensure company programs are in alignment.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish global SLAs and metrics for vendor performance and quality management. Plan and conduct formal regular performance reviews with identified strategic vendors.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Experience working in large organizations preferably in area of Banking and Finance, expertise across procurement categories, supply chain functions, procurement of IT products and services.
  • Performance-driven with successful track record of achievement in various areas of Procurement - negotiations, supplier relationship management, significant cost savings / benefits
  • Proven track record of motivating, engaging teams, developing talent, building culture and championing diversity and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to frame issues and positively influence various parties to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
