Overview Of Job

GroupM is the world\'s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Search Manager to join us at GroupM.
In this role, you will grow all aspects of Paid Search activity across a range of mid-tier agency clients, providing insight, strategy and high-quality deliverables in tandem with the SEO personnel and wider agency team.

\xc2\xb7 Understand client\'s business goals and marketing objectives and understand the role SEM plays to drive their business forward.

\xc2\xb7 Great understanding of best practices and audit process to deliver best in class campaigns.

\xc2\xb7 Ad copy management - Reviewing ad copy performance and provide improvisations

In Six Months

\xc2\xb7 Continually building test and learn frameworks across all SEM campaigns, ensuring tests reach significance where possible and learnings / next steps are communicated to clients.

\xc2\xb7 Strong relationship with your team and senior stakeholders across the business

\xc2\xb7 Strong relationship with SEM reps across key partners

\xc2\xb7 Contributing to campaign performance to drive continued efficiencies across all campaigns

\xc2\xb7 Independently respond to all day-to-day queries

\xc2\xb7 Contribution to evolving best practices through testing Alphas/Betas.

\xc2\xb7 Exceeding client KPIs across all campaigns and growing business revenue through increased billings where possible.

\xc2\xb7 Contribution to SEM strategies across new business pitches

\xc2\xb7 Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll lead, and own, the day-to-day supervision of client paid search programs including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting and overall goal achievement

\xc2\xb7 Develop positive relationships with search community, vendors and Directors for optimal service levels and results

\xc2\xb7 Understand the client\'s product, marketing objectives and digital goals with an emphasis on paid search, presenting to clients on regular basis

\xc2\xb7 Be a point-of-contact on a day-to-day communication with key clients

\xc2\xb7 This is a management role, so you\'ll perform with minimal supervision

\xc2\xb7 Monitor, track, and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client KPI targets and baselines.

\xc2\xb7 Stay on top of the latest updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (Google Ads, Bing, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Think creatively, do research, and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice. Present practical ideas for future marketing expansion or optimization.

\xc2\xb7 Actively contribute to corporate initiatives, automation projects, process changes, and rollouts.

\xc2\xb7 Build, or assist in crafting, POVs, standard methodologies, and key process documentation

\xc2\xb7 Campaign Strategy definition and implementation, working closely with other internal departments to develop fully-integrated search campaigns

\xc2\xb7 Analyze performance data and site analytics to develop insights for use in weekly/bi-weekly reports and present to the clients.

\xc2\xb7 Creation and/or deployment of automation enhancements such as Google scripts or Excel scripts

\xc2\xb7 Stay current on industry trends, focusing on how changes can help improve offerings to accounts and enhance our overall practice.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll join us because you have gained a minimum of 4 years of paid search campaign management experience

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll have gained essential experience in Analytical Tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture), Search Engine Desktop Tools (Google AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor).

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll be an emerging expert in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) optimization techniques (ROI / CPA / CPL / ROAs, Impression Share)

\xc2\xb7 Bid Management tools (DoubleClick Search) as well as 3rd Party Tracking Tools (DoubleClick, Floodlight, Sizmek, etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Certification within the last 12 months in Google Ads and Bing Ads

\xc2\xb7 Certification in SA360 and/or Google Analytics is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Experience meeting with and delighting clients is essential

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Organic Search is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Paid Social a plus

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Google scrips and Excel scripting as well as reporting automation a plus

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Google Data Studio, a plus

\xc2\xb7 Strong desire to manage and mentor junior members of a team; prior experience as a manager a plus

\xc2\xb7 Enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment

\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail
