We're hiring a
Gym Manager
to run the show -- from day-to-day operations to developing junior coaches and building meaningful relationships with families.

About the Organisation
This is a well-established children's fitness academy offering structured, obstacle-based movement programmes (parkour, gymnastics) to primary school-aged kids.
The work is high-touch, fast-paced, and deeply mission-driven. Your role? Own the gym, coach when needed, guide your team, and ensure everything runs like clockwork -- from parent comms to lesson flow to admin ops.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & People Management
Oversee daily gym operations, bookings, admin, and logistics
Lead, support, and coach a team of junior coaches
Step in to teach classes (ages 4-12) when needed
Ensure safe, high-quality delivery and positive class transitions
Programme Delivery & Quality
Guide the team in delivering consistent curriculum experiences
Develop class plans and support lesson execution
Review and refine class offerings, feedback loops, and SOPs
Parent Engagement & Customer Service
Communicate with parents professionally and warmly
Manage feedback, resolve concerns, and build trust
Support retention through relationship-building and quality care
Admin & Business Ops
Manage class bookings, staff rosters, trial classes, and payments
Track attendance, scheduling, and revenue milestones
Liaise with external vendors when required
Coordinate with HQ on system updates and process improvement
Centre Growth & Community Partnerships
Identify new opportunities for outreach and programme enhancement
Build school and community partnerships where relevant
Support localised marketing initiatives and open house events
We're Looking For Someone With
At least 2-3 years' experience in
gym or centre management
, ideally in a
children's coaching
or
sports movement setting
Hands-on leadership experience -- you're not afraid to jump in and coach
Strong team management, admin, and customer engagement skills
Proven ability to manage both ops and people
Experience with youth sports, early childhood fitness, gymnastics, or similar
Warm, calm, and confident communicator -- especially with parents
Nice to Have (Bonus)
Background in gymnastics, parkour, or related sports
Familiarity with class management tools and backend systems
CPR / First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Experience working with children with diverse learning profiles
Work Schedule
This is a
5-day work week
, consisting of:
3 weekdays
: 9:30am - 6:30pm (includes 1-hour lunch break)
Saturdays & Sundays
: 9:00am - 6:30pm
