Job Description

The Salon Manager will oversee the daily operations of the salon to ensure smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and achievement of business goals. The role requires a combination of leadership, client relationship management, and operational expertise to maintain high standards of salon performance.





Key Responsibilities





Supervise daily salon operations, including staff scheduling, client appointments, and overall salon cleanliness.





Lead, motivate, and train hairstylists and support staff to deliver quality services.





Manage inventory, including hair products, equipment, and supplies.





Ensure compliance with workplace safety and hygiene regulations.





Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.





Oversee cash handling, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.





Plan and execute promotional activities to attract and retain clients.





Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular business reports for the owner.





Maintain strong client relationships and promote repeat business.





Support recruitment and performance evaluations of salon employees.





Requirements





Diploma or Certificate in Hairdressing, Salon Management, or Business Administration (preferred).





Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the hair or beauty industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.





Strong communication and leadership skills.





Excellent knowledge of salon operations and hair/beauty products.





Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality.





Ability to work weekends and public holidays when required.
