What the role is:Reporting to the Deputy Director, Audit Assurance, the jobholder will assist to improve HTX\'s governance and risk management.What you will be working on:The incumbent will assist to improve HTX\'s governance and risk management through: - Lead a team to conduct risk-based audits, examining audit issues and providing appropriate recommendations to mitigate business risk and ensure strong internal controls; - Lead a team in preparing audit reports for submission and presenting to the management and Audit Committee (AC); - Monitoring progress and completion status of agreed management action plans; - Providing coaching and supervising of audit staff in audit projects; - Planning and executing outreach programmes to raise awareness and promote good corporate governance; - Preparing draft audit workplans; - Assisting in any other projects, such as managing and working with outsourced audit vendors; investigations etc as assignedWhat we are looking for:-Minimum Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration with relevant certifications e.g. CIA, CISA, ACFE would be advantageous. -Preferably with at least 8 years of of audit and risks management experience -Possess good analytical, data analytics, good communication, good interpersonal skills and supervisory experience is essential -Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines -Resourceful, committed, and meticulous All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
