We are a lifestyle-focused cafe-bar concept in the heart of Raffles Place, offering a vibrant transition from daytime comfort food and specialty coffee, to night-time cocktails and lively social venue. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Head Bartender to lead the bar program, elevate guest experience, and help build a strong beverage identity.
Role Overview
As Head Bartender, you will take full ownership of the bar, from menu creation and quality control to team training and service leadership. You'll be hands-on behind the bar while mentoring junior bartenders and ensuring every drink served meets brand standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and guest-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent quality
Oversee drink preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed of service
Create, refine, and update the cocktail menu in alignment with the venue's concept and customer trends
Train, mentor, and coach junior bartenders and barbacks on techniques, service, and hygiene standards
Manage bar inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimise wastage and ensure availability
Maintain records related to bar operations such as usage reports, wastage logs, and supplier invoices
Conduct regular bar checks to ensure cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor and enforce responsible alcohol service
Work closely with management on events, promotions, and seasonal beverage menus
Interact with guests and create memorable, personalised drink experiences
Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of bartending experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and creative mixology
Excellent bar management skills, including speed, efficiency, and consistency
Passion for hospitality and a natural flair for engaging with guests
Ability to lead and inspire a bar team while working collaboratively with FOH/BOH
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed

Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,200.00 per month
