AN Omakase is a modern Japanese dining destination that delivers a premium and authentic omakase experience. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee the full kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all kitchen operations for the omakase concept.
Plan, design, and execute omakase menus with creativity and precision.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Source and manage premium ingredients, including seafood and seasonal produce.
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards.
Oversee kitchen hygiene, food safety, and compliance with regulations.
Manage food cost, inventory, and supplier relationships effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in Japanese fine dining/omakase.
Strong knowledge and technical skills in Japanese cuisine (sushi, sashimi, seasonal omakase).
Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
High attention to detail with creativity and innovation in menu development.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
