Head Chef
to lead our kitchen team and ensure the highest standards in food preparation and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and cooking of crispy prata to perfection.
Lead and manage the kitchen team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and safety.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels.
Ensure efficient food production while working in a fast-paced environment.
Work closely with the front-of-house team to coordinate timely service.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner, even during peak hours.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a chef in a high-pressure kitchen environment, preferably in a prata.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Flexibility to work on public holidays and weekends, as needed by the industry.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long hours in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary.
