As the Head of Enabling Platform, you define Singtel Singapore's IT enabling platforms development vision and strategy, and ensures alignment of the enabling platforms roadmap with the Singtel Singapore's and Group IT's strategy and vision. You are responsible to design, maintain, upkeep, and transform fit-for-purpose IT enabling platforms, to meet the needs of Singtel Singapore's Consumer/Enterprise/IT business applications, deliver architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency in line with business strategy.
You anticipate the impacts of internal and external business challenges and market conditions on Singtel Singapore's IT enabling platforms development roadmap. You oversee Singtel Singapore's IT enabling platforms development process, and enhancements to the platforms to improve their commercial performance. You guide development teams on issues related to the Singtel Singapore's IT enabling platforms design, development and deployment for Singtel Singapore's Consumer/Enterprise/IT product portfolios and business applications, and development of differentiated strategies across the lines of business. You work with various teams across the organisation. You are proficient with platform development and management practices and tools. You are also knowledgeable of new and emerging IT and industry trends and anticipates new trends.
Key attributes required of the role include very strong understanding of Technology Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, the Applications Development and Delivery lifecycle, the enablement and convergence of Telecommunication Services, the dynamics of in-house development, including strong development capability within agile frameworks, and the ability to propose solutions and influence key stakeholders to drive commitment for initiatives across the organisation.

1) As a leader on Singtel Singapore IT SLT
Contribute to IT strategy as a key Singtel Singapore SLT member
Define functional principles impacting business results and IT strategies
2) Enabling Platform Technology Strategy and Roadmap
Create and execute strategies for Consumer/Enterprise IT needs and objectives
Oversee IT platform roadmap, consolidate legacy technologies for cost, reuse, and speed
Anticipate business and regulatory impacts on IT platforms
Review platform performance and communicate technology alignment with business
3) Enabling Platform Delivery & Run
Oversee project pipeline, resolve demand and prioritization
Lead team and vendors to deliver quality solutions on time and budget
Manage change governance, financials, scope, and escalations
Ensure production systems meet SLAs and comply with policies, risk, and cybersecurity
Promote innovation within the team
4) Leadership and People Management
Manage direct and virtual teams; review strategies and targets
Track objectives and KPIs; drive high performance and operational excellence
