As a Health Outcomes Director, you will lead the Value Evidence Team (VET) accountable for ensuring scientifically robust evidence generation activities are integrated into the medicine development program. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following . To LEAD: o The Value Evidence Team (VET), the cross functional sub-team of the Clinical Matrix Team (CMT)/ Integrated Evidence Team (IET), accountable for designing the options for value evidence generation, ensuring alignment across the complex functional matrix on the integrated evidence options. o Representation into the CMT/IET as the accountable representative of the sub team (VET) developing the options for value evidence generation o The project work of VEO managers assigned to their medicine(s) including line management and mentoring. o Value Evidence & Outcomes (VEO) studies related to each medicine, and to ensure transparency of evidence generation activities within the Franchise markets to the IET. o External dialogue on scientific evidence requirements with reimbursement bodies and decision makers . To PARTNER: o With Patient Focused Outcome Director on delivery of a Patient Focused Outcomes strategy, to include Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) development strategy aligned with the expectations for the medicine. o With the Global Medical Affairs Lead (GMAL)/Product Physician Lead (PPL) and other representatives others to ensure the medicine strategy is translated into evidence generation activity in the Integrated Evidence Plan. o With the clinical development team to guide study design features relevant to achieving optimal reimbursement (endpoints, comparators, patient populations, etc). . To DELIVER: o Integrated evidence options for reimbursement/life cycle including patient reported outcomes. o The Value Evidence and Outcome specific activities (Patient Focused Outcomes strategy, economic modelling, real world evidence, indirect comparisons,) ensuring scientific robustness of the study protocol, study execution, analyses, and reporting. o Value Evidence and Outcome materials to inform internal governance decision making (Scientific Review Board (SRB), Product Investment Board (PIB, Commercial Accountability Board (CAB), etc) and support Franchise Local Operating Countries (LOCs) reimbursement activities depending on stage of development. o Value Evidence and Outcome input to regulatory documents with accuracy and scientific integrity. Why you Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Masters Degree Significant experience in health outcomes or an aligned discipline/function Pharmaceutical experience that includes: . Successful reimbursement submissions in multiple markets. . Drug development and launch experience Above country experience Effective leadership of chairing meetings and driving consensus decision making. Experience of leading cross-functional teams to deliver an integrated plan Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree, preferably in Health outcomes, patient reported outcomes, health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy, health or life sciences.
