About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up Center of Excellence for shared services relevant to Group Wholesale and Global Markets Operations
  • Collaborate with all the relevant Operations Centers on SLA management and day to day interface and interaction
  • Development of a Strategic Plan for the CoE
  • Develop Standard operating procedures, manuals
Job Responsibilities
  • Set up and management of CoE
  • Collaborate with Operations Centers to determine the relevant shared operations services that should be migrated or built in the CoE
  • Responsible for evaluating the services and determine if any enhancements can be made to the services to be onboarded
  • Develop a deployment plan including resourcing, budget, timeline, testing, training and a detailed migration plan in collaboration with the impacted Operations Centers.
  • Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements
  • Write /develop Standard Operating procedures, Risk Management and Risk Metrics and KPI dashboard.
  • Develop Service Level agreements, Metrics for measurement, and the annual review of such SLAs
  • Continue to look for opportunities for inclusion into the CoE including use of any tools such as Data Analytics for the management of the CoE
  • Collaboration and Training
  • Work closely with OCs and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular service reviews for enhanced service standards
  • Ensure that the team is adequately trained and with up to date knowledge for all services supported. Facilitate cross -training and provide "Train the Trainer" in the various departments within the CoE.
  • Continuous engagement on relevant tools to enhance productivity and efficiency
Job Requirements
  • Strong business domain knowledge in banking
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives
  • Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the bank/market.
  • Resourceful team player
  • Familiar with change management processes and project management fundamentals
  • Strategic forward thinking approach to challenges with outstanding communications, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
  • Passionate, diligent and resilient individual with ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant banking and/or consulting experience
