Strategy
  • Develop and implement the overall HR data strategy aligned with the Group and HR strategy which will enable the HR Function to achieve its ambition to become a world-class, data-driven and EX (Employee Experience)-focused organisation; and help the Bank differentiate further its Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
Business and Processes
  • Define the data strategy with the focus of sweating data as an asset to drive better business value
  • Partner with the People Insights and Analytics team to identify and track key HR metrics, trends and insights to inform and improve HR decision making and strategy
  • Co-lead with People Insights and Analytics (PIA on the overall DDHR programme to help shape and deliver holistic plans against each pillar of the programme.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organisation
  • Build a model (technology, data architecture, controls) that will enable simple, automated and controlled consumption of HR data for the HR function and other downstream for reporting, analytics and integration purpose, and adherence to the relevant governance frameworks and legislation
  • Build the operations for data strategy delivery in HR, enabling usability, efficiency, availability and security.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency across all HR systems and sources
  • Stay up to date with emerging HR technologies, best practices and industry trends to inform and continuously improve the HR data strategy
  • Build and manage the team mof HR data professionals to support the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s data needs
  • Communicate and present the HR data strategy to the HR function in a clear, concise and compelling manner
  • Partner with group CDO and HR Data governance team to define and embed initiatives into HR to connect the delivery to the group data strategy
  • Partner with the CDO and HR Governance Team to
    • Identify CDES internal to HR, external Producers/Consumers
    • Maintain critical data elements
    • Maintain Business and Technical Metadata
    • Maintain Business and Technical Lineage
    • Support creation of Conceptual, Logical Data Models
    • Embed standards and processes to support more connected and holistic data solutions.
  • Accountable for the Data and Technology pillars within the Data Driven HR (DDHR).
  • Partner with HR Change and TTO teams to design, develop and maintain the technology aspects of our data strategy
People & Talent
  • Lead the HR Data Strategy team of professionals.
  • Responsible for managing and recruiting staff in the HR data Strategy team, ensuring adequate staffing and strong talent identification, succession planning and development activities.
  • Provide effective leadership to the team, communicate the vision and build commitment and energy to focus on key priorities.
  • Lead the way on culture and values to set the appropriate tone across the team and ensure people are recognized and rewarded appropriately.

  • Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and reward in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Risk Management
  • Ensure our data services adhere to the relevant risk and governance frameworks and legislation \xe2\x80\x93 including Data Privacy and Cyber security.
  • Support the identification and management of HR data risks to ensure the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance, and ensure that any risks and issues identified are subject to direct remedial action and/or escalated, where appropriate to relevant risk committees
  • Ensure any audit and compliance issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Governance
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
  • Ensure the Data Strategy aligns with the relevant Data Privacy and Governance standards and legislation.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Overall experience of 10+ years post qualification.
  • Relevant work experience in Data Architecture and modelling
  • Hands on exposure to Data platform Cloudera or Teradata will be an advantage.
  • Managed projects for HR functions will be preferred.
