Job Description

The purpose of GovTech\xe2\x80\x99s Internal Audit Division (\xe2\x80\x9cIAUD\xe2\x80\x9d) is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve GovTech\xe2\x80\x99s operations. The mission of IAUD is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. IAUD helps GovTech accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.

The Head, Internal Audit leads the IAUD and is responsible for achieving its purpose and mission.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrated success working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, including the senior leadership and Board of Directors within a growing and dynamic organisation

Conversant with international accounting and auditing standards, local laws and legislation and government rules and regulations

Demonstrated success as a negotiator and influencer, with the ability to deliver difficult messages with tact and confidence

Strong experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, with strong coaching, mentoring and people-development skills

Proven success in leading teams in complex internal audit engagements, advisories and investigations

Proven ability and willingness to listen, be flexible and adaptable as necessary

Proven analytical and project management skills

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accountancy, Finance, Business, Computer Science or equivalent

At least 15 years of relevant experience, with min 8 years in managerial capacity

Broad exposure to business, IT, cybersecurity, data protection, financial and organizational processes in large organisations

Professional certifications in relevant fields would be an advantage
