About The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage a team responsible for the consolidation and reporting of group finance activities across our 9 markets in APAC region where you will work closely with individual region finance members. You will drive monthly business reporting, review, and participate in high level decision making with senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing the month-end activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of consolidated management accounts of the Group.
• Management accounting, financial and regulatory reporting (Singapore) and providing commercial and operational management information to support rapid expansion.
• Owning the general ledger and building an objective understanding for all its underlying transactions.
• Monitor expenditures, cost reports, and determine budget variances and report the same to leadership of the Company.
• Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process - both via automation and control.
• Preparing year-end-accounts and statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with Singapore FRS and IFRS accounting standards.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Responsible for tax and regulatory reporting requirements to the regulators in Singapore
• The alignment of financial data for the region from various finance ERP systems, including roll out, harmonizing business processes and providing visibility of operations across the products.
• Building a highly scalable and efficient accounting and finance function

• 5+ years of post-qualified experience in finance functions, preferably within in the FMCG or retail industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge with proven experience within Singapore FRS and IFRS.
• Strong experience of month-end close, financial, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex accounting queries.
• Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft applications (excel, power point, etc.)
• Ability to comprehend and narrate financial records for all types of stakeholders.
• Superior organization skills: ability to plan and organize work so that it is efficient and effective. Ability to multi-task and perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced evolving environment.
