Job Description


What\xe2\x80\x99s the purpose of role:
The Head of Catering Services is responsible for all functions related to Catering Services Division which include organisational development, manpower planning and deployment, performance management and operational efficiency and P&L management.

Who you\xe2\x80\x99ll deal with:
Internal: Executive Management team (Singapore, Australia & HQ)
External: Vendors, suppliers, customers, local agencies, regulatory authorities

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:
- In collaboration with key stakeholders in the executive management team develop the Company\xe2\x80\x99s long and short-term strategic goals.
- Translate strategic goals to formulate catering operations strategy plan which includes specific strategies in manpower plans, change management, overall profit and loss performance, budgets, and projects. Ensure strategy is aligned to the one dnata brand and strategic direction.
- Optimise staffing levels and costs to support business needs.
- Implement lean practices throughout the catering operation.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure relationship and contractual obligations are met. Establish and maintain relationships with key external parties as required (Union representatives, key customer representatives, regulatory authorities, and airport representatives).
- Lead and oversee the development and execution of all operational related initiatives.
- Promote a safe working environment and high-performance culture to build high quality operations achieve profitable business growth.

- Evaluate effectiveness of initiatives and programs and adjust as appropriate to support company goals, industry practices and market trends.
- Provide effective and inspiring leadership, support team development and create performance goals.
- Provide innovative thought leadership and shape the knowledge base within areas of expertise to the catering team.
- Provide advice and data to key stakeholders on catering related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company and international standards of food safety, workplace safety, ramp safety and security of premises, product, and people. Ensure compliance to the group corporate governance framework.
- Support continuous organisational safety culture change and improvement programs to drive the dnata safety culture through a continuous process of change readiness, transition, and adoption to support key safety initiatives.
This list is not exhaustive, accountabilities may vary dependant on locality or role complexity and may include any other duties considered reasonable by the line manager.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll have:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in related field
- Recognised Catering and/or Hotel and Restaurant Management qualifications
- Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in flight catering or premium hospitality industry, of which a minimum of 8 years should be in a management position
