DESIGNATION : Head of Chinese Speech and Drama

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Enrichment, you will be responsible for the planning, training and execution of the subject of Chinese Speech and Drama lessons. Job Role & Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise curriculum development and implementation

• Supervise and direct the work of subject coordinators and teachers

• Plan, coordinate and conduct staff training and development programs and activities which includes mentoring and demonstrating to junior teachers

• Assess and modify lesson plans and activities on a termly basis or as and when required.

• Conduct Chinese Speech and Drama lessons for pre-school children at any appointed centre under EtonHouse Group

• Assess, evaluate, monitor and document how effectively the curriculum meets the students’ needs

• Assist in the preparation of related marketing collaterals and newsletters to engage and inform Parents of their children’s progression in class

• Accurately submit all required reports, studies, surveys and related information

• Lead the strategic and operational development of the subject

• Lessons will take place at either The Eton Academy centres or at preschools under the EtonHouse group

• Tertiary Education qualification, certificate in Chinese Speech and Drama or equivalent

• At least three years of relevant teaching experience with children aged 3 to 6 years old

• Good track record of providing planning and implement the subject of music and movement or speech and drama.

• Process leadership qualities and management skills.

• Strong passion for arts and drama and working with pre-school children.

• Proficiency in Chinese language as it is essential for Chinese Speech and Drama. Good communication and classroom management skills.
