Head Cloud & Platform Services for Leading International Bank in Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic direction, design, and implementation of cloud and platform infrastructure services, partnering closely with key stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end Cloud and Platform Services, including software deployment, system administration, security management, incident resolution, and capacity planning.
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for Cloud Infrastructure, with Azure as the primary platform, ensuring optimal performance and cost management across the enterprise.
• Champion cloud infrastructure adoption, driving innovation while effectively communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Analyze cloud infrastructure to provide financial insights and optimization recommendations.
• Generate metrics, reports, and action plans to achieve financial excellence in the cloud.
• Oversee the evaluation and implementation of new software products and tools, keeping the bank at the forefront of technological advancements.
• Present technical findings and insights to non-technical audiences, empowering decision-makers with the knowledge needed to make informed choices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business case preparation, alternative analysis, and cost estimation.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance technical excellence and improve development efficiency.

• Bachelor\'s degree with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including 5 years in a leadership role focused on technology and development.
• Proven track record of leading multi-year on-premises platform and cloud migration programs for large-scale organizations, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, and Big Data.
• Expert-level expertise in architecting and delivering enterprise Azure cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Experience working with large data sets, leveraging cloud-native applications, and optimizing server infrastructure and virtualization.
• In-depth knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure components such as Active Directory, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, Storage such as SAN & NAS, Relational Databases, and Networking.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell and familiarity with API management solutions and microservices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certification as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert is required, with additional AWS certifications being highly desirable.
• Experience with provisioning tools such as Azure Resource Manager and Terraform is a plus.
