Job descriptionOur client is seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader and specialist to spearhead the DevOps initiatives and the implementation of modern development and security practices.Proven track record in DevOps leadership and technical expertise required to guide our team of DevOps engineers.Expertise in crafting, implementing, and overseeing DevOps tools and proceduresEstablish strong connections with vital stakeholders across the organization, including business executives, IT departments, and risk management teams.Lead with strategic directionWe are open to individuals from various industries who are interested in shifting their careers to financial services, especially those with a solid track record in the specified requirements.Responsibilities:Develop and execute the organization\'s DevOps and DevSecOps strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and automation across development, operations, and security teams.Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of DevOps initiatives, providing regular reports to the executive team, with a primary focus on productivity and people leadership.Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-performing team of DevOps engineers.Provide hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and managing DevOps tools and processes.Ensure effective utilization of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Chef.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for both on-premise and cloud environments.Advocate for the integration of security tools, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Container Scanning, into the CI/CD pipeline.Ensure timely identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle.Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, IT teams, and risk management.Effectively communicate the value and impact of DevOps initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences.Requirements:Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of progressive experience in software development, operations, or related fields.5+ years of leadership experience in DevOps, preferably in a financial institution or highly regulated environment.Demonstrated success in leading large-scale DevOps transformations.Proven expertise in DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Chef.Experience with both on-premise (VM, OCP) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization.Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and security best practices.Please contact Jackie Panopio at +65 6950 0369 or JackieP@charterhouse.com.sg for a confidential discussion.EA License no: 16S8066 | Reg no.: R1332082Only successful candidates will be notified.
