Headquartered in Singapore, my client is a well known pioneer in the manufacturing sector and has a long history of working with multinationals across different markets. They are highly profitable and has been on a strong growth trajectory across various markets in Asia. To lead the company through the expansion, the CEO is looking for a strong Head of Digital Transformation to lead the digital transformation project.

Description

Reporting to the CEO and part of the leadership team, you are tasked to lead the technology function across the different markets. Working closely with the leadership team, you will be the key lead in driving the digital transformation project in the next 3 years. You will driving organisational change by promoting digital awareness and fostering a culture of innovation. You will be leading a team responsible for executing digital transformation initiatives. This includes defining roles and responsibilities, providing guidance and mentorship, and ensuring collaboration across departments. You will be utilising data analytics and business intelligence to drive decision-making and gain actionable insights. This involves establishing data governance frameworks, implementing data analytics tools, and fostering a data-driven culture. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and executives, to align digital transformation initiatives with their needs and objectives. Additionally, building relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies.

Overall, this role plays a crucial role in driving the organisation\'s digital strategy, implementing technological advancements, and fostering a culture of innovation to achieve competitive advantage and business growth in the digital landscape.

Profile

To excel in this role, one will need a Bachelor degree in technology, computer science with at least 10 year\'s experience in business intelligence and big data platforms. You should have a deep understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices is essential. Strong business acumen is necessary to align digital transformation initiatives with the organisation\'s strategic goals and objectives. You possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a diverse group of professionals, are important. Effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are also essential. You possess excellent change management skills and have the ability to communicate the need for change, manage resistance, and facilitate a smooth transition to new digital processes and technologies. You will need a strategic mindset for developing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy. This involves the ability to assess the organisation\'s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis), identify areas for improvement, and devise a road map for digital transformation. Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin is critical as you will be expected to liaise and influence stakeholders in China.
