Job Description

Our client is a world-class manufacturer supporting the semiconductor industry, specializing in advanced materials and components used in EUV chipmaking. You will lead end-to-end engineering operations - driving process innovation, yield improvement, and new technology introduction. This role oversees CAPEX planning, tool qualification, and continuous improvement within a highly advanced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of engineering initiatives to meet production and development objectives.
  • Manage engineering projects, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and qualification of new tools and processes.
  • Drive yield, quality, and process improvement programs to enhance efficiency, reliability, and throughput.
  • Build and develop a high-performing engineering organization through effective leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including R&D, manufacturing, and quality - to enable smooth introduction of new technologies and customer requirements.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with corporate goals and customer commitments.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the engineering function.
Role requirements
  • Proven experience leading engineering operations within a semiconductor, precision manufacturing, or optical technology environment.
  • Strong track record in CAPEX planning, tool qualification, and process optimization.
  • Deep understanding of yield and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop managers and technical teams in a high-tech manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
