Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications role with a large listed global company (in Tuas)

  • Minimum 18 years of relevant experience in a SGX public listed company
  • Strong investor relation exp is required. Some corp communication exp is also required
  • Open to working in Tuas
Our client is a global player with an international presence. It is based in Tuas in Singapore. It is now looking to recruit a Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications professional.

This role will report to the CFO head up a team of 5 and cover both Investor Relations and corporate communications work. There will also be secondary exposure to media relations and community relations projects as well.

For this role, you will be managing a team of 5 and covering the following key functions as the Head of IR and Corp Comms. Key scope of work:

Investor Relations (main focus)
  • Serve as key contact between the global investment community and the Group and its Management
  • Communicate and disseminate corporate information/presentation/updates to the investment community
  • Plan and organise an annual investor relations programme and participate in such events
  • Develop and update the corporate information kit
  • Assist with the preparation and development of statutory filings including annual reports and shareholders\xe2\x80\x99 circulars
  • Assist in the extraction and preparation of analysts\xe2\x80\x99 reports and shareholding statistics
  • Keep abreast of SGX Listing Requirements and ensure corporate compliance
Corporate Communications
  • Uphold corporate branding, identity and positioning across the Group
  • Review and develop corporate collaterals and materials for internal and external dissemination
  • Undertake research and analytical work covering economy, industry, governance and other subjects
  • Plan, manage and oversee corporate events and projects including corporate functions, community events, press conferences, road shows, international exhibitions, launch vents and other corporate activities
  • Provide creative, editorial and research support to Management, Commercial/Business/Support units within the Group
Media Relations
  • Serve as key contact between media and the Group and its primary spokesperson
  • Maintain international and local media contacts and establish rapport with media personnel
  • Manage media enquiries related to general corporate data and information
  • Assist with the preparation of media releases and responses, including issues management
  • Monitor and track media reports/commentaries including social media coverage of the company, competitors, customers and industry developments and disseminate the same to Management for information
Community Relations
  • Serve as key contact between liaison person of charitable organisations and the Group
  • Review and recommend corporate philanthropy programmes
  • Draft and issue corporate responses related to sponsorship requests and enquiries
  • Plan, manage and participate in corporate community outreach programmes
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Mass Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Studies or a related field
  • Minimum 18 years of relevant IR exp, with some exposure to IR function gained in a public listed company
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage cross-function communications and projects
  • Has good team leadership and supervisory experience
  • Good writing and conversational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, social and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Self-motivated, creative, resourceful and result-oriented
  • Open to working in the Western part of Singapore (at Tuas)
