• Maintains organization\'s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting business strategic plans
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and IT resources
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating business requirements and needs
• Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective action
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
• Ensures all trading platforms conform to regulator\'s policies, guidelines and notices
• Regularly perform review of IT policies and procedures to ensure they conform to the company\'s objectives
• Actively participate in all IT audits to ensure all audit points and issues are addressed timely and appropriately
• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
• Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution
• Participates on all hardware and software evaluation and maintains vendor contracts
• Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and IT personnel in the area of system design, modification or trouble shooting

The Successful Applicant

• Min Bachelor degree in IT field
• Possess 10 or more years of progressive IT experience, preferably with experience in a financial sector
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical staff, to work with the Executive Management of an organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
• Knowledgeable in trading platform and technologies
