Tanglin is a not-for-profit international day school in One-North, Singapore, offering an outstanding education for expatriate students. The school educates boys and girls aged 3-18 years across the sections: Infant, Junior, Senior and Sixth form, all based on one campus. Established in 1925 the school has grown steadily to become an 8 form entry school. It offers the English National Curriculum from Nursery and Early Years right through to iGCSE and offers a dual pathway where students can take either A-level or IBDP. The facilities are second to none within 5 hectares of a rural setting. They include four libraries, two large performance halls, science laboratories, vibrant canteens, state-of-the-art media technology suites, drama studios, and a sound-proof music suite plus two swimming pools, four gymnasia and a variety of pitches and courts for all sports.

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational teacher of Junior school drama to deliver a high-quality programme. Collaborating across year group teams and engaging the parent community is an essential element of the role. The successful candidate will be an experienced drama practitioner and a creative and innovative individual who is passionate developing this subject further.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher with a B.Ed, degree + PGCE or equivalent, with QTS
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Outstanding practitioners from either a state or independent school background
  • Knowledge of UK curriculum preferred but not essential
  • Dedication to co-curricular activities
  • An interest in developing your own learning through academic research and reading
  • Extraordinary candidates, willing to go the extra mile and use their initiative
Salary and Benefits
  • Excellent salary dependent on experience, \xc2\xa34,500 - \xc2\xa35,500 per month
