Reporting to the CEO, our client is looking for a Head of Legal to head up the team, focusing on the assessment, and management of legal risks for the regional operations and group. The role involves generating and reviewing in-house legal documents, including capital markets license, contracts and marketing materials, negotiating terms with clients and third-party intermediaries, and providing legal support for new projects and financial products.Requirements:

  • LLB (Hons), admitted to the Singapore Bar or Commonwealth Jurisdictions
  • At least 10 years PQE or of relevant experience in prime brokerage, capital markets, securities, and/or derivatives. Possess knowledge of MAS Capital Markets License
  • ECM Investment banking experience. Strong knowledge of the Securities Futures Act and the Financial Advisers Act will be essential
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses.
