Do you have level artist experience, and are you seeking a new job in Singapore? Skillsearch is helping a gaming company find a full-time Head of Level Art Designer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. As a Level Art Designer, you will analyse and develop high-quality game scenes based on the art direction and game concept and ensure compliance with quality standards, visual style and visual requirements. In your first few weeks in this level art role, you can expect to:

• Develop, conceive and design the textureless scenes in the early stage of the production, polish and optimise the level art in the late production stage in conjunction with the art team and level designers
• Analyse, develop, and optimize scene developments and ensure compliance with visual requirements
• Develop requirements and feedback on scene-related steps, organise assets production, animation SFX, etc
• Develop scene production and analyse pipeline and technical related challenges to develop solutions.

To apply for this level art role, you will need 5+ years of professional experience in level art, production experience in AAA games, and the ability to produce assets. You will also require the following:

• Experience creating an environment with UE4 and assets-related 3D production tools
• Experience in world design
• Good artistic background, deep understanding of environment-related art fields like architecture, landscape, nature, layout, colour and lighting
• Familiarity with engine (level placement, scene management, building modules, shader usage, lighting, performance optimization, etc.), plus the ability to solve technical issues with internal tools.
