China Re Group is the largest reinsurance group in Asia and the 8th globally by gross premium income. The Group is rated "A (excellent)" continuously by A.M. Best since 2010, rated "A+" or "A" continuously by Standard & Poor's since 2014.


In 2016, we set up China Re Singapore Branch with the approval of a license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Our office is located within Raffles Place, at CapitaGreen on Market Street. Currently, we are writing both life and general business in the Asia Pacific region.


We are now seeking to fill the following position in our Singapore team.

Head, Life Reinsurance Business, Life Re Dept

Responsibilities:


Help China Re to build its capability on various risks and reinsurance solution sets in the South East Asia market Meet with clients and prospects to present solutions including product ideas and structured reinsurance solutions Manage client's expectation actively and be comfortable in presenting and negotiating commercial terms Support local / regional pricing functions to ensure solutions offered are commercially attractive to clients whilst satisfying internal pricing KPI Support local business lead in formulating China Re's relevant go-to-market strategy


Requirements:


Qualified actuary Minimum 10 years insurance / reinsurance working experience University degree or above Knowledge of insurance / reinsurance business landscape in South East Asia region Experience in insurance / reinsurance product pricing Possess good communication and interpersonal skills Project management experience would be an advantage Willingness to travel Fluent in both English and Mandarin
