Job Description

Our client, an impact-focused investment firm, is hiring a seasoned Head of Operations to lead and strengthen the firm's non-investment functions. This role oversees finance, HR, compliance, IT, corporate secretarial, and administrative operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, financial discipline, and strong governance, while enabling the investment team to focus on deals and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute the firm's operational strategy in alignment with business goals Oversee finance, HR, compliance, technology, and administration functions Drive efficiency and implement scalable systems and processes Manage fund administration, investor reporting, and relationships with service providers Review and govern portfolio valuations and ensure compliance with policies and standards Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and tax compliance Lead HR functions including talent, performance, and culture initiatives Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks Oversee IT strategy, cybersecurity, and workflow systems Manage office operations, vendors, and corporate documentation

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in operations, finance, or corporate services (preferably in venture capital, private equity, asset management, or professional services) Proven leadership in managing multiple functions and senior teams Strong financial literacy and ability to act on financial insights Solid understanding of HR, governance, and regulatory compliance Skilled in project management and process improvement Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-driven approach Possess strong people leadership and board-level influence experience Ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
