About Us Love, Bonito is a digital-first company on a mission to empower the everyday Asian woman and inspire self-confidence. We are the leading direct-to-consumer womenswear brand, headquartered in Singapore, with an omnichannel presence across Indonesia and Malaysia, a retail franchise in Cambodia, and are fast expanding into international markets namely Hong Kong SAR China and the United States of America.

The role
People are at the heart of everything we do. Given our recent expansion, it is becoming more important than ever that we are well structured to support our people and achieve our business goals. As our Senior People & Business Partner, People & Culture, you will play an integral role in the evolution of our Love, Bonito team and family. Reporting into our Chief People Officer, you will work alongside her by developing a passionate and high performing team, in a culture of openness, learning, operational excellence, collaboration, honesty and innovation.

Main responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Develop the roadmap and capabilities for our People & Culture (P&C) organization, in line with our group ambitions and business goals towards profitability
  • Build a team of mission-first, high performing and agile P&C team across HQ and country teams
  • Forecast, manage and optimize payroll and people operational expense
  • Craft thoughtful strategic talent acquisition, retention and career development plans
  • Develop a perspective for LB\xe2\x80\x99s end-to-end employee experience with key differentiating areas, then create the strategy and implementation plan to drive these pieces with quality and finesse
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefit plans that are thoughtful, competitive and differentiated
  • Develop a global resourcing and mobility strategy for an increasingly distributed workforce
  • Establish LB as the employer of choice in the consumer-retail-tech space
  • Champion and promote thoughtful diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
  • Refine and standardize people policies and programmes globally
  • Be the strategic advisor to CEO and leadership team especially regarding key management and organizational issues
  • Establish an effective partnership with CEO and leadership team to continuously drive culture and transformation at LB

You should have / be
  • An LB culture champion with a deep understanding of the LB brand, unique proposition and vision
  • A strategic, performance-driven, and mission-first mindset
  • Extreme ownership, founder mentality, gritty and able to roll up one\xe2\x80\x99s sleeves; a no fluff strong operator
  • A genuine curiosity to know how things work and how to make them better
  • A growth mindset and desire to constantly iterate, improve and upskill oneself
  • Impeccable judgement and an ability think beyond and for the long-term
  • A passion and knack for problem solving and coming up with solutions that are scalable and cost-efficient
  • Exceptional influencing abilities to create strong \xe2\x80\x98voluntary\xe2\x80\x99 buy-in by building strong relationships with stakeholders across all functions and levels
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to distil jargon; able to lead with context
  • Exceptional relationship management and strong collaborative attitude
  • Strong analytical acumen and comfortable with numbers and modelling
  • A mature leader and people manager
  • Trustworthy and an embodiment and role model of LB\xe2\x80\x99s values
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of HR experience, with good hands-on knowledge across a variety of HR functions
  • Demonstrated experience in retail and regional operations
  • Has rolled out successful projects to improve appraisal and compensation and benefits framework
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse organization
