Would you seek the same challenge?At LSEG, we help our customers achieve success by providing access to an open platform that uncovers opportunity and catalyzes change.Position SummaryThis is a newly created senior leadership position combing two sales teams to benefit from synergies across a wider geographical area and to be more closely aligned with the APAC Sales and Account Management organizational structure. The role will be responsible for managing a team of sales specialists to achieve and beat the regional sales target. The targets span several channels from Key Strategic Accounts to the long tail of LSEG Customer Connect so the leader will need to manage various stakeholders and represent each business channel with a target-hitting plan.The product suite focuses on Real Time Data aimed at the middle and back office. The leader will need to be conversant in market data trends and able to articulate and inspire the team as to our roadmap relative to the Cloud. Other selling propositions include Machine Readable News and how this relates to AI and LLMs.The major focus of this role is proactively winning new revenue - to both existing and new client accounts. The candidate is expected to be hands-on - personally getting involved in deals, meeting clients, network across the region and actively participate in marketing events.The individual will be additionally responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the business \xe2\x80\x93 creating and performing sales strategies, providing forecasts and business updates to internal stakeholders, as well as collaborating with other client facing, product and marketing leaders.Role ResponsibilitiesAchieve and beat the sales target for the given business line in APAC.Manage the sales team across the South APAC region, including hiring, onboarding, training, and sales operations.Create, communicate, and implement sales strategies.Collaborate with other sales, account management and product leaders.Actively contribute to client engagements and help open and close deals.Be the SME on the business \xe2\x80\x93 both the products and the addressable marketDesired skills and experience3-5 years leading a sales team in a SaaS business addressing the financial sector.10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a client facing role, with direct sales experience a strong plus.Deep Knowledge of SaaS solutions for front office professionalsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience coordinating with various business functions to \xe2\x80\x98own\xe2\x80\x99 the growth of a business.Experience selling modelling/AI/Low Latency solutions a plus.Cross regional experience in APAC a strong plusPeople are at the heart of what we do and drive the success of our business.
