:Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone and make a difference in shaping Airbus Procurement in Asia Pacific, for 11 countries and territories (South East Asia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand?)A vacancy for a Head of Regional Procurement Office - Asia Pacific has arisen in Singapore. You will report functionally to the Head of Procurement Governance and Strategy and operationally to the Head of Asia Pacific International Cooperation.About Regional Procurement Office Asia PacificWe are a multi-national team of ~30 people of 10 nationalities, present in Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, expanding to other countries in the region, and we animate a network of ~50 procurement professionals in the Asia Pacific region. We are present since 2020. We have diverse backgrounds ranging from procurement, supply chain and quality, engineering, to services and project management. The scope of our activities encompasses General Procurement (indirect), Flyable Procurement (direct), Procurement Operations, and Procurement processes and tools. We serve all Airbus divisions (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Atlantic, Airbus Aerostructures). Our mission is to provide regional context, contribute to market access, develop Airbus regional supply chain footprint and promote the Airbus brand in the Region. We maximize Procurement value to Airbus, aligned with Commodities, secure business continuity, sustainability & ensure compliance. We work in close collaboration with the other Regional Procurement Offices. \xe2\x80\x9cThink Global, Act Local\xe2\x80\x9d.About the job:Your main responsibilities include:Be the voice of Procurement in Asia Pacific and the voice of Asia Pacific in ProcurementAnimate Regional Procurement community across 11 countries and territoriesConnect and network with Procurement teams in EuropeConnect and network with each country ACR (Airbus Country Representative)Support visibility and branding of Airbus in Asia Pacific through participating and organizing events to leverage Supply Chain presence.General ProcurementDeliver local for local General Procurement for the entities in Asia Pacific, on time, on cost, on qualityDrive a unified way of working and strategic procurement approachDrive application of global agreements in accordance with Procurement commodities, and contribution to global market segment strategiesEnsure strict adherence to procurement process and ethics and complianceFlying ProcurementScout and develop potential suppliers in the region in line with Airbus commodity needsDevelop and implement procurement strategy for Asia Pacific, in line with Airbus overall procurement strategy and ensure contribution to Airbus overall procurement strategyDrive procurement contribution to Industrial Cooperation & Offset (IC&O)Act as Supplier Relationship Manager in alignment with commoditiesProcurement Operations and Supplier developmentDrive development of regional suppliers in alignment with commoditiesDrive industrialisation of new work packages in Asia Pacific in alignment with commoditiesDeliver locally special process qualifications, assessmentsTransverseDrive simplification, harmonisation and digitalisation of procurement practices in Asia PacificDrive contractual governance in Asia PacificConstantly benchmark ourselves vs other regions and implement best practicesDrive compliance to export control regulationsDrive a sustainable supply chain roadmap for Asia PacificPeopleDrive the development of our procurement professionals in Asia PacificDrive the development of Asia Pacific communityRequirements & expectations:Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related disciplinesExperience in leading procurement transnational teams, ideally across different commoditiesAt least 8 years of experience in procurement; experience in aviation industry strongly preferredExperience in leading multi-functional teamsOpen-minded, self-motivated team-player, awareness and interest in working with different culturesCustomer oriented, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, both at senior level and at operational level;Analytical and rigorous, able to deep-dive in topics when needed and explain complex topics to a variety of stakeholders;You are pragmatic, able to balance contractual and business risks, priorities, oversights and compliance;You are able to be in the driving seat and when needed to be in a support role;You have a high level of autonomy, able to work from remote environment and manage time differenceYou are fluent in English, other languages will be welcome.This role will involve some occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly;What we offer:A challenging role with exposure to a variety of subjects and stakeholders, and exposure both to Asia Pacific region and to Airbus central teams in Europe;Interaction with suppliers and external parties;Contribution to the delivery of the Airbus strategy and Top Company Objectives (TCO), and to the success of the Regional Procurement Team;The opportunity to develop new and transferable skills and knowledge that will support you throughout your career.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company\xe2\x80\x99s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Singapore Private LimitedEmployment Type: PermanentExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Leadership
