Description
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Risk will be involved in:-
- Managing the entire risk function which includes implementation of risk management policies and practices for credit, market, liquidity, operational and fraud risk.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulatory guidelines, Bank\'s credit policies & procedures, risk appetite as well as best industry practices while approving credit.
- Overseeing preparation of MIS for timely reporting of the market risk profile to management and regulator.
- Measuring risk both qualitatively and quantitatively to facilitate risk identification and management.
To qualify the potential Head of Risk should meet the following criteria:-
- A recognised degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum 10 years of risk management experience within banking.
- Strong knowledge of industries and economic environment in the region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our client offers autonomy in this role reporting directly to the CEO and remuneration will be in line with the market. In addition, you will be able to rely on knowledge and experience from the wider leadership team here in Singapore.
