Job Overview



The Head of Sales Health - Asia Pacific is a senior management role within the Global Sales & KAM function of Allianz Partner's Health line of business. Operating within a matrix environment, the role reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer. Leading a regional sales team, you will be responsible for developing the Asia Pacific regional sales strategy across both new business and the existing book of business, ensuring growth in the portfolio across all segments (Corporate IPMI and Employee Benefits, Individual, Student & SME, Government and Partnership) and in line with company targets.





Responsibilities



Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


Strengthening our regional presence and developing our regional strategy to ensure continued growth of market share and Allianz Partners profile. Achieving new business targets across all segments in Asia Pacific. Building the local footprint and leveraging strong distribution relationships, to place Allianz Partners at the forefront of opportunities. Expanding pipeline of new business, focusing on quotes in market, and medium to long term strategic prospects. Responsible for leading on long term and short-term sales initiatives to support business growth. Establishing commercially successful relationships with relevant partners, brokers and clients. Maintaining on-going client and broker relationships including the handling of issues to ensure client satisfaction and partners' and brokers' engagement. Keep investigating and assessing market and product/service viability, ensuring market and customer needs are fully understood and required changes are aligned with business priorities. Driving the adoption and use of Salesforce as our core CRM tool, ensuring ease of access to information required to drive the performance of our business. Driving collaboration across Allianz Partners lines of business, Allianz OEs and working closely across Allianz Partners Health business areas to deliver complete health solutions (e.g., Health & Wellness). Leading the regional sales team, responsible for establishing talent development, engagement, and retention strategies to support the growth of the team.

Requirements



To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/experience:


10+ years relevant sales experience preferably within the insurance industry with a proven track record of driving sales and market share and expert knowledge of the local market and competitor landscape. 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally with change management experience. Degree preferred in e.g., Economics, Business Administration, Law or other appropriate discipline or completion of professional insurance qualification or equivalent experience. Proven success of operating in a complex, global matrix organization with the ability to influence at all levels. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and to "sell" a winning story. * Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, collaborative attitude, and team player with the ability to engage various stakeholders in new ideas or projects
