Job Description

The Head of Singapore will be working with the China and Southeast Asia Director to lead the business activities in Singapore, raise the profile of the company with key stakeholders and organisations, identify members needs in Singapore and support the work of company strategy, working alongside other departments.

The Talent

• Excellent stakeholder management experience and the ability to work collaboratively and influence at a senior level.
• Proven experience of developing and implementing successful growth and engagement strategies (an advantage if in a member body and education sectors).
• An experienced leader or manager with proven ability to engage and motivate their staff to deliver results in an environment remote from central office.
• Ability to engender confidence at senior levels (e.g. governments, regulators).
• Attained professional business qualification i.e. qualified accountant will be a bonus
• Experience in working in a multinational organisation/network will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.

The Job

• Develop and build excellent relationships with the Singapore Advisory Board, and in particular, the Chair, to support activities/initiatives that will contribute to the company\'s vision and strategy.
• Identify member needs in Singapore and communicate with relevant departments, stakeholders and members on prioritising and delivering these needs.
• Manage key relationships including members and partners.
• Represent the company at public events to maximise business opportunities.
• Develop a strong network with government, government agencies, business, practice, partners and other affinity organisations in Singapore.
• Keep abreast of business and education issues facing Singapore, ensuring that company is made aware of opportunities and/or issues and risks that will impact the standing and development in the region.
• Identify technical/thought leadership needs in Singapore and agree how these will be prioritised/delivered with the objective.
• Promote the market and brand awareness of the brand, inter alia working with the regional marketing lead, on activities/initiative such as, but not limited to - events, stakeholder engagements, advertising, communications and public relations, to further establish the brand in Singapore.
• Significantly contribute to the regional leadership team and effectively manage the operations of the Singapore office and budget, including producing reports/plans, where required, on a timely and effective basis.
• Lead and develop the Singapore team to their full potential.
• Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
