Head of Supply Chain Mercantile is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Supply Chain specializing in Mobile Devices, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations globally. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain processes, optimizing costs, and driving operational excellence to meet customer demands. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the supply chain operations. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise will be instrumental in driving supply chain excellence, optimizing costs, and delivering exceptional customer service in the fast-paced mobile devices industry. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy for mobile devices in the Singapore, Malaysia, and Dubai regions, aligning with the company\'s business objectives and goals. Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Demand Planning: Lead the demand planning process, including forecasting, inventory management, and order management. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to accurately forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery to customers. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance. Conduct regular supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Identify alternate sources of supply and implement supplier development initiatives.

Logistics and Distribution: Oversee logistics and distribution operations, including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment. Optimize transportation routes, manage warehousing and inventory locations, and implement distribution strategies to minimize lead times and reduce costs. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve supply chain processes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer service levels. Implement Lean Six Sigma principles and other process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence and efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing direction, coaching, and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture, establish performance metrics, and conduct performance reviews. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in transportation, supplier performance, or regulatory compliance. Develop and implement contingency plans to manage risks and ensure business continuity. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular supply chain performance reports, analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Excellent understanding of mobile devices market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in Singapore, Malaysia, and Dubai.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain strategy development, process improvement, and performance management.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
