The APAC Advisory Services Total Rewards team is responsible for the design and strategy of total rewards for the Advisory Services business segment. The role partners closely with the Global Total Rewards team to apply global strategy on a local level.

Reporting to the Global Head of Total Rewards, Advisory Services, the Head of Total Rewards APAC will be responsible for, but not limited to, designing, developing and implementing innovative and consistent total rewards strategies, policies and programs. The person will also be consulting and partnering with senior leaders to identify and define total rewards needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute effective and efficient total rewards strategy and service model, aligning to the global Total Rewards strategy, CBRE philosophy and local market needs
  • Drive best practice for the use of technologies, standardized methodologies, change communication and other levers for process quality and efficiencies
  • Full people management responsibilities for team members, including hiring, retaining, and developing
  • Consult, advise and influence senior executives on total rewards strategies and solutions
  • Partner with various stakeholders, team members and counterparts to ensure consistent and scalable processes and practices aligned to overall CBRE total rewards strategy
  • Project planning and management of Total Rewards related projects, in partnership with internal specialist teams in the development of governance framework and documentation, change management and communications materials, determining program implementation requirements and defining processes
  • Lead and partner with the Advisory Services Total Rewards team members, on all Total Rewards priorities and deliveries as required, including but not limited to:
  • Annual compensation planning cycle
  • Annual insurance benefits renewals
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Survey participation and survey data analysis
  • Global Job Architecture
  • Leading workstream on Merger & Acquisitions, company restructures, functional transformations etc


Background & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in broad based Total Rewards or Compensation and Benefits role with sizable multinational organization. Experience with US based organizations is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Highly developed commercial acumen with strong capability to market and position Total Rewards strategies and programs
  • Demonstrated track record of managing large scale, multinational projects for internal or external clients, including project solutioning, planning, delivery and continuous improvement
  • Ability to fluently articulate business strategies and operations, translate organizational strategies into objectives and business actions, and communicate to different levels within the organization
  • Leadership experience and the ability to effectively build and manage relationships with leaders and team members within a geographically dispersed environment
  • Comfort in working within a rapidly changing, highly complex and matrixed environment
  • High level of competence in data analysis
  • Demonstrable experience in serving in an “internal consultant” role
