Your field of responsibility

Join us to drive and support the Product management teams (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Funds, Discretionary Mandates, Universal Life Insurance, etc.) to deliver analytics solutions for Private Banking APAC. Solutioning starts with a strategic framework/plan and breaks down into analytics solutions such as dashboards (Tableau) and actionable data analytics reports.

Main responsibilities/tasks:

  • Drive the analytics agenda/framework/strategy for Product management teams delivering product analytics solutions for PB APAC
  • Innovate the analytics offering (e.g. with data mining technologies, correlation analysis, pro-active warning indictors)
  • Work directly with Asia senior management and their teams to build and deliver use cases, conceptualize and launch insightful dashboards/provide ad-hoc analysis on topics spanning across Relationship Managers performance and productivity/Clients/ Products/Human Capital
  • Support production of daily/weekly/monthly reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness around different dimensions such as costs/clients/products/markets; Highlight key wins/ areas of focus for the business supplemented by commentaries substantiating the data, providing more visibility on the financial gaps and driver
  • Drive data/reporting aligned process-improvement through reengineering and automation; constantly revisit book of work to see opportunities
  • Collaborate with platform teams in Asia to support data collection, integration, and retention requirements
  • Interpret data and analyze results; Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using standard statistical tools and techniques
  • Communicate concisely and relevantly the analysis outcome to business partners, finance functions in Onshore locations to facilitate fact based decision making
  • Track the success/usage of data analytics solutions and report adoption to management

Your skills and experience

You'll be a good match, if you have:
  • University degree or equivalent education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Knowledge of Private Banking business
  • Proven experience in a team leader role
  • Can deliver results in strategy / planning and operative day-to-day work
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in delivering cross-functional data projects to solve business problem and driving business outcomes
  • Dynamic experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Power BI etc; and reporting packages such as Business Objects
  • Excellent skills on MS Excel, Macro VBA, database query languages (SQL) and Python
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interface with Management
