We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head (Singapore), Platforms and Product Management (FX, Derivatives, Structured Products). Principal Responsibilities This is a role within the Global Product team covering the APAC region. You would be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy in the region, aligned to team and group priorities. In this role you will report to the Global Head of Pdt Mgt & Platforms (Derivs, FX). You would be responsible for developing an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of our capabilities and an understanding of the firm\'s products and services, the marketplace and client needs. The role will also involve increasing adoption and utilization of our solutions by our clients and new prospects through participation in sales strategy meetings, demonstrations, presentations. You will use your in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive landscape and subject-matter expertise to identify the right solutions for clients to address specific client needs. This job will carry out some or all of the following tasks: Core

  • Providing thought leadership in evolving our digital marketing products supporting the Global and Regional strategy
  • Introduction of product payoffs including the management of the approval process
  • Design product business proposition covering target client groups, margining methodology and operational workflow
  • Be responsible for leading the development of Business requirements by working closely with stakeholders from Tech teams and/or Partners/Merchants and map out the details post-analysis
  • Work closely with UX Design team to conceptualize and optimize customer journey
  • Ensure that specifications are designed in accordance to business requirements
  • Provide business leadership to a team of Delivery Leads, Test Analysts, Automation Test Engineers working with other partnering teams such as Business Analyst(s), Test Lead(s), etc. to manage on-time delivery of projects within agreed scope and approved budget
  • Collaborate with Business units, Operation Units, Technology partners in ensuring end-to-end system and process delivery
  • Support post-implementation tasks such as user training to touch-points, production problem investigation, escalation and resolution
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved within the SLA and prompt follow-up to ensure closure of issues
  • lead and drive marketing agenda to grow and scale company\xe2\x80\x99s and client\xe2\x80\x99s revenue through data and results driven marketing strategies and solutions
  • Negotiate credit line with markets credit team to support 3rd party execution
  • Ownership of product governance docs covering all aspects of dealing workflow involving all functions of dealing, product, COO, compliance, risk, legal etc
  • Ownership of any and all changes in confirmations, termsheets, contract notes and other client documentation
  • Regulatory framework review of all MAS, HKMA, FCA, PRA requirements impacting FX, precious Metals and Structured Products Asset class
  • Drive agile product development with technology, COO functions to establish a robust price discovery and execution platform
  • Review and understand key business policies and processes in Private Banking, Market & Credit Risk policy in offering OTC and structured products and services. Identify critical pain-points and articulate how planned / in-flight tech projects will solve them
  • Familiarity with all booking and execution platforms and ensure interface with margining platforms as well as downstream systems is evolved
  • Termsheet design for Derivatives and Structured Products offering along with legal for bank approved payoffs
  • Ownership of DACS (Direct Access Client Services) process workflow and documentation
  • Owner ship of Fees guidelines on spreads Private Banking business can charge it\xe2\x80\x99s clients on the FX and structured products asset class
  • Participate in project review meetings and identify / highlight any potential issue that may impact project\xe2\x80\x99s cost, timeline and / or scope and work with concerned stakeholders for it\xe2\x80\x99s early resolution to bring back the project on track
Processes
  • Develop processes and systems to ensure delivery of best in class products and services crystallized through segment led value proposition
  • Develop standards and policies with respect to booking of deals in other transaction processing systems
  • Through product and risk forums ensure adequate and appropriate systems, controls, and compliance within area of responsibility
Risk Management
  • Full Ownership of the Global IWS Risk across all products and regions which entails 2 key activities
    • Global product risk approval and management \xe2\x80\x93 Annual review and limits extension
    • Global VaR and market risk report sign off
Regulatory and business conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by group\xe2\x80\x99s values and code of conduct
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and group code of conduct
  • Lead the business to achieve the standards as set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct principles: Fair outcomes for clients; Financial Crime Prevention; the right environment
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
Key Stakeholders
  • Regional and country wealth management heads and DACS dealers
  • Key market heads, IAs and RMs
  • Credit and Operational risk, Legal, Compliance, Middle Office and COO functions

Requirements
  • Degree holder with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Private Banking or Investment Banking and/or in the area of mobile payments, FX Derivatives or Equities Derivatives
  • Have a good IT background and understanding of emerging technologies and processes
  • Have good experience in managing projects end-to-end and participated in different milestones within a project lifecycle such as business requirements development, test management and execution, implementation, etc
  • Have an excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude and an avid team player
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and commitment
  • Able to work well and effectively with different stakeholders, e.g. product teams, operation teams, technology teams, partners/merchants
  • Meticulous and systematic with an eye for detail
  • Self-starter with good business acumen, independent and able to rise up to challenges and manage stringent delivery timelines
  • Demonstrable knowledge of effective P&L management
  • Extremely strong in building relationships and managing stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capability, advanced Power-point and Excel skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Highly collaborative, able to simplify and not afraid to take thoughtful risks
