We are looking for aspiring candidates with a passion for strategic engagement and problem solving to fulfill a role in Sense-making and Surveillance as Head of the Solutions & Design team. He/She will be part of a dynamic team involved in developing and executing stakeholder engagement strategies, conceptual designs and delivery of solutions to exponentially impact the Home Team (HT).What you will be working on:

• Lead the Solutions & Design function within S&S COE, establishing team performance metrics and overseeing the team\'s training and development roadmap. \xe2\x80\xa2Develop and execute both internal and external stakeholder engagement strategies, in alignment with department\'s business objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2Develop and execute customer satisfaction surveys, in consultation with the Product and Engineering teams. \xe2\x80\xa2Engage internal stakeholders to identify problem statements and use-cases. \xe2\x80\xa2Engage external stakeholders to map out capabilities, strengths and products that can be leveraged on. \xe2\x80\xa2Develop and execute a framework for the prioritisation of use-cases that can be undertaken by the department. \xe2\x80\xa2Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to prioritise use-cases taking operational impact, technical feasibility and resources into consideration. \xe2\x80\xa2Lead the team in the concept-level design and solutioning to address stakeholder\'s use-cases, incorporating a mix of in-house product and outsourced COTS and/or integration services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Translate ops user requirements to high level solution & design first level solution architecture from which solutions can develop from, and help agencies scope out their use case and work out the accounts, tools and services needed by the agencies.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor\'s/Master\'s/PhD degree in any of the following: Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2At least 8 years of relevant professional work experience relating to business analysis, customer engagement, account management, or related field \xe2\x80\xa2Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences \xe2\x80\xa2Knowledge in multi-tier architectures for video surveillances and analytics platforms \xe2\x80\xa2Strong leadership and supervisory track records \xe2\x80\xa2Having domain knowledge in Homeland Security sector will be an added bonus Attributes of an ideal candidate \xe2\x80\xa2Self-motivated \xe2\x80\xa2Team player \xe2\x80\xa2Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2Excels in cultivating and nurturing professional connections to foster collaborations and partnerships \xe2\x80\xa2Enjoys investigating and getting to the root cause of issues \xe2\x80\xa2Creative individual who is able to think out of the box *** All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
