You will be a part of HPB's

Youth Preventive Service Planning , which works closely with the Student Health and Dental Centre as well as programme and partnership teams. You will help develop and implement evidence-based strategies and user-centric experiences across digital and physical channels, with a strong focus on Grow Well SG and other national preventive health initiatives for children and families.


Scope



As a key member of

Youth Preventive Service Planning (Service Design) team, you'll have to be comfortable to put on many hats.





You will support human-centred design and research activities, including user interviews, insights documentation, and maintenance of personas and journey maps.


You will assist in mapping customer journeys from preschool through tertiary, identifying pain points, synthesising research outputs, and contributing to service improvement recommendations


You will support service design prototyping through workshop preparation, prototype development and testing, and solution iteration.


You will monitor service touchpoints across digital and physical channels to ensure consistency and seamless user experience.


You will contribute to cross-divisional sharing sessions, maintain the insights repository, and assist in preparing service quality and project reports.


You will take on additional projects that strengthen HPB's service design and customer experience.

An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with interest in service design and user research. The candidate should possess:


Curiosity about what makes citizens tick - an enquiring manner with genuine interest in understanding people's needs and motivations, and drive to take action on insights. People-oriented approach - enjoys meeting and engaging with diverse groups to gather insights. Familiarity with qualitative research approaches - comfortable with interviews, observations, and exploratory research techniques. Strong collaborative and partnership building skills - confident to work with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work cohesively in fast-paced teams and navigate ambiguous situations positively. Adaptability in matrix and dynamic teams - works well across different organisational structures and changing environments. Independence and initiative - works independently with minimal supervision. Strong result-orientation - enjoys challenges and driven to achieve meaningful outcomes. * Strong communication abilities -distils and communicates concepts concisely and coherently (written and oral).
