Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a regional Health & Safety Manager. In this role, yoi will be primarily responsible for all of the policies, practices, and operations for the Safety, Health, and Environmental functions within Company operations.


This role will be based in Sungei Kadut Loop area of Singapore and will have project responsibilities across multiple buiness units in Jurong , Tuas , Kaki Bukit areas.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating Health, Safety and Environment related activities at a site level establishing and implementing the Safety, Health & Environmental company programs ensuring regulatory compliance
• Coordinate and conduct safety training and act as safety resource to lab team members while coordinating the facility safety committee
• Exhibit operational knowledge of regulatory and other pertinent safety standards and produce /maintain task specific risk Assessments
• Coordinate accident/incident investigations and reporting /promoting employee participation in the Safety, Health and Environmental programs ensuring that the emergencies are handled fulfilling the requirements of applicable regulations
• Management of HSE systems (policies, procedures, forms and instructions) , supporting resolution of complaints while coordinating responses to client complaints/queries

Skills / Qualifications:

• A formal qualification in HSE would be desirable along with general knowledge and experience of laboratory testing practices and technology and 1-3 years experience in coordinating HSE activities
• Ability to solve practical customer problems and proficient in microsoft Applications (Access, Word, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills in english
• Team player able to interact well externally as well as internally
• Willing to travel to locations within Singapore as required
