Duties & Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and daily activities. Support safe transfers and movement of residents using appropriate lifting and handling techniques. Escort residents for medical appointments and activities. Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms, toilets, and common areas. Clean and sanitise equipment, furniture, and fixtures (e.g., chairs, tables, fans, lights, mattresses). Ensure the environment is safe, tidy, and hygienic at all times. Provide laundry services, ensuring adequate clean clothing and linens for residents. Support food preparation and dining assistance under nursing supervision. Work closely with nursing staff, therapy aides, and other team members to ensure residents needs are met. Support operational and ad hoc tasks as required by supervisors. Additional ad-hoc duties given by the higher management.

Requirements

Minimum Primary education. Qualified WSQ or HMI (Healthcare Support) certificate courses At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred (experience in residential or special needs settings advantageous). Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Sense of urgency and ability to prioritise tasks.
